At our location in Warsaw (02-676), Poland we are are looking for an experienced

SALES MANAGER EASTERN EUROPE (Fixed term contract till 10.2025)

Scope

In this role you will own and manage country consolidated and country specific P&Ls for the respective markets in EEU and manage the partner relationships for the entire region.

You will develop the country annual business plans including execution. You will also be delivering growth in the region, unlocking a series of new countries in Eastern Europe and expand Capri-Sun market position to lead.

This is a fixed term vacancy for maternity cover.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering sales revenue and gross margin across the region
  • Continuing the double digit growth across the main countries, especially in CZ, SK, UA and RO
  • Unlock and accelerate development of new countries within Eastern Europe
  • Develop the Annual Plan for the key countries and Strategic Plan for the region
  • Lead the commercial agenda with distribution partners. Negotiate price & Joint Business Plan terms, secure alignment
  • Track agreed key performance indicators and set course corrective actions in case needed
  • Lead joint planning and alignment processes with partners around Annual Plan and ATL/BTL calendars
  • Manage the annual planning process, support distributors to implement the plan by working closely with both internal & external stakeholders (sales, marketing, supply chain, finance)
  • Forecasting & reporting, improve forecast accuracy, risks & opportunities, monthly performance reporting and identify short term and long term sales opportunities
  • Developing toolkits with marketing teams to support distributor sales teams
  • Leading the preparation for quarterly senior management meetings
  • Coordinating new product launches with internal and external stakeholders and align the commercial business case for future innovations across the region
  • Actively lead and manage the ambiguity of a distributor & brand owner relationship
  • Influencing distributors and ownership of the distributor relationship by developing strong working relationships with all our partners/ distributors & CSAG teams in Germany, Poland & Switzerland

Profile

  • 7+ years of FMCG food or beverage sales experience working in a blue chip environment
  • Retailer key account management experience
  • Regional experience, has managed distributors in Eastern Europe
  • Significant experience within brand management, consumer insights and channel marketing with breadth in trade marketing, finance and operations
  • Able to manage a matrix environment: proven ability to build partnerships between parent companies and third parties (cross-functional / cross-border)

  • Willing to travel 15% of the time
  • Fluent in English is a hard requirement. Good knowledge of German is highly preferred. Any other eastern European language is a benefit
