Your role and responsibilities

Our team of Theatre and Sterile Services Technicians play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our Theatre department. You will work both independently and as part of a team to prepare and maintain our theatres and equipment for daily surgical procedures. You’ll work closely with our team of Theatre nurses assisting with the care to our inpatients and preparing them for surgery.

This is an exciting and varied role working within a busy surgical environment. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

This role would suit an experienced Patient Care Assistant looking to expand and utilise their skills in a referral theatre environment. However, you do not need previous experience to apply as we will support the right candidate through a comprehensive induction programme. You’ll also have the opportunity to further your knowledge and skills by completing further courses and qualifications available via Linnaeus and external providers.
