The Coral Springs Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) is a free-standing ASC with Operating Rooms and Endoscopy suites. A Registered Nurse in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Cleveland Clinic ASC is responsible for understanding complicated medical histories, advanced surgical procedures, pain modalities and thorough nutritional support. An RN in this role will care for pre- and post-op patients for a large variety of ambulatory surgical cases, including but not limited to ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Urology. You will use your strong assessment and critical-thinking skills to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide the best outcomes for each patient and ensure patient advocacy and safety.
The hours of this per diem position are primarily 10-hour shifts per week, 7am – 5:30pm. A minimum of 48 hours per six-week schedule is required.

Physical Requirements:
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
