The Role:

The Senior Omnichannel Manager (m/f/d) in Business Unit Hematology & Oncology is a local change agent driving a transformative effort across all customer engaging functions. The Senior Omnichannel Manager (m/f/d)  guides the cross-functional brand teams from a content-centric to a customer-centric approach to provide the right content, at the right time via the right channel to specific customer segments. The Senior Omnichannel Manager (m/f/d) accelerates the omnichannel strategy design and implementation with a focus on business impact, advising and supporting cross-functional brand teams, aligning strategies and enhancing local capabilities.


The Senior Omnichannel Manager (m/f/d) will collaborate with internal and external enabling functions and vendors to ensure the omnichannel execution is in line with strategic plans and set objectives. The Senior Omnichannel Manager (m/f/d) will also challenge the status quo, help to remove internal/external barriers to execution and demonstrates that being more innovative is possible and brings value to BMS and our external stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice to brand teams, offering insights on omnichannel activities, initiatives and solutions, for multiple customers as prioritized by the brand lead:
  • Prioritization of campaigns and tactics
  • Definition and measurement of campaign/tactic success (e.g. development of metrics plan) to evaluate and optimize plans/activities
  • Driving tactical plan to accomplish KPI and business objectives.
  • Hands-on creation and execution of omnichannel campaigns based on content provided by the brand teams, adapt content according to channel needs
  • Support brand team in identifying relevant customer segments and map customer preference scores.
  • Support the brand teams adhering to budgets, timelines and objectives.
  • Coordinate initiatives and facilitate seamless communication among brand teams, internal/external production partners (incl. omnichannel service center), Business Information and Analytics (BI&A).
  • Partners with BI&A to understand omnichannel preferences for different customer segments
  • Provide the technical infrastructure, tools, and expertise needed to enable effective data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement across all aspects of omnichannel management and reporting
  • Participate in the design of dashboards with effective data visualizations using BMS analytics tools
  • Lead and coordinate regular insights and metrics discussions with business partners in partnership with the BI&A team to ensure frequent optimization of the engagement, content and channel plans.
  • Deliver channel insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization of business plans.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to develop further omnichannel maturity and support innovations, orchestrate collaboration and streamline omnichannel strategy and execution.
  • Aligning enterprise strategy, frameworks, best practices and roadmaps with the current state and business ambitions
  • Support the roll-out of new omnichannel capabilities in Austria.
  • Explore digital opportunities by researching emerging technologies and platforms, conducting feasibility studies, and collaborating with teams to implement innovative digital marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally a track record of 5+ years’ experience in digital/omnichannel marketing, including developing and executing omnichannel strategies and tactics (across personal, non-personal promotional channels) and campaign/tactic execution/management.
  • Previous Pharma/Biotech experience.
  • Robust understanding of omnichannel/customer engagement and innovation.
  • Solid understanding of “basic” digital channels such as website, email, marketing automation.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and benchmarks for content and channel performance across different customer types.
  • A customer-focused mindset in building strategy and tactics; understands unique customer preferences for omnichannel deployment.
  • Ability to drive trade-off decisions anchored in data.
  • Ability to deliver on customer needs and optimize customer experience.
  • Experience in operating in agile teams; ability to coach teams on content creation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to implement robust metrics, analyse data and provide actionable insights.
  • Agility to learn new tools and processes.
  • Experience using modular content creation.
  • Innovative and inquisitive nature to ask questions, offer bold ideas and challenge the status quo .
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate and influence individuals and cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience in change management with a strong focus on supporting analytics/ metrics to build a resonating change story.
  • Agile mindset: Ability to adapt to changing situations and to react quickly to needs of the organization, brand teams or other key stakeholders.
  • Resilience and ability to deal with setbacks.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented hands-on approach
  • Highly flexible work attitude and the ability to easily move from “strategic thinking” to hands-on tactical execution.
  • Experience in leading projects: driving projects forward collaboration with key stakeholders, seeking for solutions to overcome hurdles and proactively share best practices.
  • Ability to work  cooperatively across borders and within a matrix to achieve results.

Based on your function, department or individual position, you will have the opportunity to discuss with your Manager the option to work remotely up to 50% of the time, over a two-week period, with the flexibility to choose the days that align with your collaboration needs.

For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies from € 3.360,00 gross per month. An overpayment in line with the market, depending on qualification and experience, is offered.
