Working within the FNZ Investment Operations Function you will be responsible for the processing and settlement of all financial transactions made by FNZ’s clients. The team is also tasked with processing corporate distributions, reconciling client positions and identifying and resolving fund and equity issues. Working as a Corporate Actions Senior officer/SME, you will be responsible for providing specialist support and advice within the Corporate Actions Team which is responsible for the end to end identification, data gather, allocation and updating of all Corporate Actions on the Wrap Platform across a broad range of investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Senior; Expert on the lifecycle of a Corporate Action from initial notification to action closure and responsible for the investigation/resolution of any complex issues along the way

  • Stakeholders: Maintain strong working relationships with Third Party Custodians, External Fund Managers and internal teams to identify and process all relevant Corporate Actions

  • Client: Interact with key clients on a regular basis and actively work to reduce the number of outstanding queries and issues

  • QA & MI; Support manager in reviewing work and production of MI to demonstrate effectiveness of controls within team

  • Process Improvement & Documentation; Drive forward ideas from the team to improve the existing operating process and periodically review procedures to ensure completeness

  • Development; Keep up to date with market changes and developments that impact the team

  • Training; Participate on the creation of training plans and the training of newly joined members of the team

  • New projects/clients; help to prepare for onboarding of new clients or processes from operations point of view including operational specific testing.

  • Technical; maintain technical understanding of platform functionality and operation, end to end view of the process and platform for team

What we are looking for

  • Significant experience in a senior Corporate Actions role, ideally within a platform environment

  • Detailed knowledge of the Corporate Action lifecycle

  • IOC / Investment Certificate or working towards it or willing to obtain

  • Knowledge of equity markets, both fund and equity corporate actions

  • Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Experience with SQL would be advantageous

  • Ability to analyse, present and report complex information to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

  • Swedish and English fluent

  • Good knowledge of Swedish market
