    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support Specialist with a strong focus on Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and Azure AKS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux administration, cloud platforms, automation tools, and container orchestration. This role involves monitoring cloud environments, leading incident response efforts, and optimizing cloud resource utilization. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Kubernetes Support and Troubleshooting: 

    • Provide on-demand support for Kubernetes-related issues and challenges. 

    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with Kubernetes clusters, pods, and other containerized resources. 

    • Participate in On-call rotations 

    Cluster Management and Maintenance: 

    • Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters across different environments (on-premise, cloud, hybrid). 

    • Apply patches and upgrades to Kubernetes clusters, ensuring security and functionality. 

    • Assist with scaling Kubernetes clusters to handle traffic load changes. 

    Deployment and Automation: 

    • Assist in deploying containerized applications using CI/CD tools.    

    • Ensure the proper configuration and optimization of deployment pipelines for efficient delivery. 

    Collaboration and Documentation: 

    • Work closely with development and DevOps teams to understand application needs and address issues. 

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose applications issues to help application team find root cause of their containerized applications issues.   

    • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of reoccurring issues to improve overall operational stability of the platform.  

    • Document FAQ, runbooks and troubleshooting guides. 

    Performance Monitoring and Optimization: 

    • Monitor Kubernetes environments to ensure high availability and performance. 

    • Act on alerts and tune application and Kubernetes environment alerts threshold.   

    Security and Compliance: 

    • Monitor cloud environments for security vulnerabilities and compliance issues, utilizing AWS security tools like Guard Duty and AWS Shield. 

    • Collaborate with security teams to ensure the Kubernetes infrastructure meets compliance standards. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Proven experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and Azure AKS. 

    • Strong background in Linux administration, including installation, configuration, tuning, and upgrades. 

    • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud Platform and its services. 

    • Proficiency with ci/cd tools such as Harness, bamboo or github actions. 

    • Familiar with Infrastructure as code such as terraform and Ansible. 

    • Hands-on experience with Docker orchestration and containerization using Kubernetes. 

    • Good knowledge of shell and Python scripting. 

    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

    • Previous experience providing operational support to both AWS and Azure environments. 

    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. 

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

    • Ability to stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and integrate them into operations. 

    Preferred Skills: 

    • Kubernetes certification (e.g., CKAD, CKA) is highly desirable. 

    • Experience with container orchestration in production environments. 

    • Familiarity with service meshes (e.g., Istio) and microservices architectures. 

    • Understanding of cloud-native technologies such as serverless frameworks, service discovery, and APIs.
