FacultyJob Duties Outlined:
Provide outpatient and surgical services at the University of Kansas Medical Center/University of Kansas Hospital, and other community affiliate sites as designated.
Abide by the Medical Staff by-laws of the University of Kansas Medical Center and contracted facilities.
Provide medical billing information to the clinical billing office within one day of outpatient clinic or surgery.
Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Department Chair.
Required Qualifications
Education: Board certified/board eligible in Otolaryngology.
Work Experience: Must be proficient in all aspects of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery with emphasis in the treatment of cancer patients
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience: Preference will be given to those individuals who have strong clinical and surgical experience and an interest in research, educating residents, medical students and fellows and scholarly activities. There are a considerable number of clinical trials and funded translational research within the division, and the Department has the resources and infrastructure to support a candidate who currently holds or has the potential for securing competitive external funding.
If selected as a final candidate for this position, you may be required to complete the Association of American of Universities Representations and Warranties document and sign a release of records that will allow the University of Kansas Medical Center to conduct a further background check with former employers.
