Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and efficiency of the applications. A typical day in this role involves collaborating with the team to understand requirements, designing and developing application components, and conducting testing and debugging activities. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving application issues, as well as providing technical support to end-users. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design and develop application components based on business requirements. - Collaborate with the team to understand application requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct testing and debugging activities to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner. - Provide technical support to end-users and assist them in utilizing the applications effectively. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL. - Experience in designing and developing database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures. - Knowledge of performance tuning techniques to optimize application performance. - Experience with version control systems and code management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
