This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Position Summary

Candidate to possess a broad knowledge across multiple development platforms and draws on their skills and experiences to assess problem and technical requirements to design secure, high-performance solutions that maximize the capabilities and potential of the Salesforce platform. Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering and analytical activities. Serves as a fully seasoned and proficient technical resource; provide technical knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Expected to work closely with technology partners, business partners and system owners to define and design appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
  • Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
  • Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
  • Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Required Qualifications

  • Minimal 5+ years of development experience with Salesforce Lightening
  • Understanding of integration efforts and tasks with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and third-party app-exchange solutions
  • Experienced with structured programming – APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java, and SOA
  • Solid working knowledge of data warehouse, multiple database platforms, ETL
  • Effectively work with management, onsite/offsite development staff to accomplish project deliverables
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; both written and verbal
  • Manage multiple priorities, be proactive, and deliver quality results with aggressive deadlines
  • Self-starter, good aptitude, problem solver and open to learning new technologies

Desired Qualifications

Salesforce certified software engineer that is experienced with delivering solutions for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud including multiple integration points

  • Experienced using RESTful web services
  • Competency with MS SQL Server, MYSQL, and/or Oracle
  • Cloud and MuleSoft skills
  • Financial Services or other related industry experience
