Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance professional with 3-5 years hands-on experience in Finance & Accounting and Reporting process. The ideal candidate will be a CA-Inter/MBA Finance/M.Com/B.com, possess strong domain knowledge in Indian taxonomy (Indirect taxes, withholding tax), Accounts Payable, Month End Closing (Accounting & Financial Reporting). This role would also require interacting with critical internal stakeholders and global teams in finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing
  • Preparing & recording daily/monthly accounting journals in a timely and accurate manner
  • Record monthly provisions, accruals to ensure completeness & accuracy of financials results
  • Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations & obtain necessary signoffs
  • Ensure adherence to month-end closing timelines and internal control requirements

• Reporting & Reconciliation
  • Prepare quarterly TDS returns accurately within statutory timelines.
  • Assist in tax-related reconciliations, workings and maintenance of supporting documentation.
  • Perform monthly GST reconciliation and verify returns in accordance with GST compliance requirement.
  • Assist in TDS, GST Reconciliations and support during internal & statutory audits.
  • Assist and provide requested supporting documents / reports to internal & external stakeholders, auditors
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports and MIS

• Accounts Payable
  • Suppliers’ management (Vendor setup, modification, vendor’s queries)
  • Invoice Processing, T&E, Query resolution for India & APAC
  • Payment setup, Vendor & Bank Account reconciliations
  • Review of all the critical profiles of AP as assigned with accuracy, with no frequent escalation from stakeholders.
  • Prepare/update the procedure guide, control testing.

Qualifications

• CA-Inter/MBA in Finance/M.Com/B.com
• 3-5 years hands-on experience in Finance & Accounting and Reporting process
• Strong domain knowledge in Indian taxonomy (Indirect taxes, withholding tax), statutory compliance, Accounts Payable, Month End Closing function
• Proficiency in MS office, accounting and T&E software (preferably workday).
