Looking to take ownership of client work and grow your leadership skills? At Ryan, we’re redefining tax services through innovation, collaboration, and client excellence. We’re seeking a Manager, UK Corporate Tax to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional results.

As a Manager, you’ll be central to our UK tax practice, managing day-to-day client engagements, supporting junior team members, and ensuring high-quality compliance and advisory services. This is the perfect role for someone who combines technical expertise with strong organisational skills and a passion for client service.

Duties and responsibilities:
People:
  • Supervise Senior Associates and Associates in preparing and reviewing UK corporate tax deliverables.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and contribute to team development.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive culture aligned with Ryan’s values.

Client:
  • Manage compliance and advisory work for a portfolio of clients.
  • Act as a trusted day-to-day contact for client queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Identify opportunities to add value and escalate complex issues when needed.

Value:
  • Ensure all deliverables meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Drive efficiency through effective planning and resource management.
  • Support tax technology adoption and process improvements.
  • Stay current with UK tax legislation and contribute to internal technical discussions.

Education and Experience: 
  • Qualifications: ACA, CTA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience: Solid UK corporate tax experience, ideally from a mid-tier or Big Four firm.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Bonus Points: Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, or tax automation tools.
