We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Logistics Specialist, ideally from aerospace, to join our team developing electric-powered aircraft. This position will be a primary point of contact for company logistics needs, handling every aspect of logistics operations and performance.

With that vision in mind, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. The goal of the Logistics Specialist at Wisk is to develop an efficient Logistics operation to meet the needs for our next generation aircraft in order to build the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment. In support of this goal, you will be part of the Supply Chain team that performs hands-on logistics work, assesses risk, and manages daily logistics aircraft parts shipments, working with suppliers around the world.  Your goal is to lead efforts to optimize the supply chain logistics and related total costs and support our lean production system on tactical and daily problem solving.  

The successful candidate is respected in the aerospace logistics communities as a highly knowledgeable and experienced logistician who has direct hands-on experience supporting aircraft parts shipments, managing imports/exports, ECCN classifications and HTS codes with a wide breadth of  shipping knowledge, including all forms of freight worldwide via all modalities. In this role, the candidate must be efficient in analytics, sourcing and supplier management and be a strategic thinker as well as a strong relationship builder.

Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Mountain View office.
