We are looking for a Full- Stack Software Engineering Manager with excellent backend development skills for our suite of web applications. You will manage the development team as well as be the backend technical lead. We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and enthusiastic developer proficient with Java, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, and data streaming applications, who has managed development teams, and enjoys doing both.

How You'll Help Take Us There

Your focus will be to manage the development team and own software deliverables. In addition, you will be responsible for ongoing design and development of backend features & components for our data streaming SPA Web Applications, ensuring our platform delivers exceptional experiences to our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, front-end developers, core trading system developers, Devops, production engineering, systems & networking and product owners to deliver high-quality, performant and scalable solutions. You will report to the Head of Application Development.

What We’re Looking for  

• 5+ years’ experience leading technical projects that include managing teams of 5+ developers
• Manage developers in Agile scrum development for their day-to-day work and deliverables
• Own and improve the SDLC, refine Jira stories, coordinate releases, unblock team members
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence to organize work and create technical documents
• 7+ year's hands-on experience in core Java backend streaming to Web SPA
• Fluent in Java 17+
• Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Spring Security, Oauth2, RSocket/WebSocket
• Microservices architecture
• Git, Gradle, IntelliJ
• SPA Web apps, Typescript 3+, React 16+, Redux

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $225,000 USD to $275,00 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
