The Marketing Technology Center of Excellence (CCoE) at eBay focuses on developing applications for Paid, Affiliate and Influencer Marketing, aimed at enhancing traffic and conversion rates. Our objective is to onboard new affiliate partners and influencers who can boost purchasing conversions on eBay. Our comprehensive platform includes a science model-based recommendation system, a search function leveraging eBay's powerful search engine, a big data platform designed to identify high-quality inventory within eBay, and a tracking and attribution system that offers deep insights into performance metrics.

We are seeking a versatile, creative and passionate senior full stack software engineer (Level can be adjusted for candidate’s skills and experience) to architect, design and develop innovative, highly performant, available software in the form of web services and applications.

Responsibilities:

Work with other specialists, development managers, architects, product managers to design and develop systems that meets marketing needs. Consider the performance, scalability, reliability, quality during design and coding.

Learn how to seek problems and work as a team.

Familiar with business logic and come out technical solutions to help business.

Job Requirements:

BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Math or related fields.

5-10+ years’ work experience in software development with at least 3-7+ years’ experience in Java programming.

Expertise in modern frontend technologies such as Javascript, CSS, React, etc.

Familiar with data structures, algorithms, OO programming, some basic design patterns.

Ambitious and excellent problem solving skills.

Learn quickly and a good team worker.

Familiar with distributed systems, and big data projects, like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.

Good at English writing and speaking.

Experience on contributing to open-source is a huge plus.

Working Experience in Multi-national Company is a plus.
