Position Purpose: As a Project Manager V within the Operations Transformation Office (OTO), you will lead program management across a highly complex and cross functional set of projects and have interfaces that cross between enterprise operations, clinical operations, customer care, national product & network management, and health plans.  This role has c-level visibility and accountability for progress, communication, prioritization, planning, and business value delivery.

  • Manage the full project life cycle, including review of various sources to assess requirements, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, managing budget, and facilitating project execution, deployment and closure
  • Daily interactions with VP and Director layers of the organization and project leadership that includes sponsors, cross functional collaborators, technical, SME, and project management professionals.
  • Communicate project status to all stakeholders and external agencies
  • Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company’s objectives
  • Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas
  • Manage the creation of all project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards including design documents, test plans, training materials, and operations documentation

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 8+ years of project management experience with departmental specific projects. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff. Proficient with MS-Office applications. Healthcare and managed care experience preferred. Understanding of Agile methodology is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with the full program lifecycle, full project management life cycle, and alignment of agile and traditional work breakdown alignment in both operating model change and technical implementation contexts.

* Past examples of inheriting an ambiguous program and turning it to value focused predictable delivery are good indicators of future success in this role.

* General familiarity with the systems used in managed care to enable satisfaction and adherence to governing standards across member and provider journeys, back office and portal, serving three or more product lines and five or more states. * Experience with program, project, & requirement management tools from Planview or Atlassian/Jira will be helpful.

* Extensive use of Smartsheet to maintain program management resources.

Pay Range: $105,600.00 - $195,400.00 per year
