Job Description

Logistics Operation:

Organizes and handles a variety of logistics issues in a Product environment. Duties involve but are not limited to Customer support, supply chain coordination, import-export licensing, shipment of products, transportation and third-party Logistics management. Participates in process/rating improvement efforts. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures.

 

  • Importation/ Exportation experience/knowledge
  • HS code classification / Customs element collection experience/knowledge
  • Logistics experience/knowledge in 3rd party warehousing(WMS), international & domestic transportation,
  • Fluent in both writing and oral English
  • Project experience to drive cross functional team to achieve project target
  • Coordinates and performs activities associated with order tracking and customs clearance by working with the transportation carriers and brokers.
  • May coordinate with the suppliers the scheduling of orders subject to critical delivery dates as required.
  • May review orders for conformance to import & export control and take required action.
  • Order Fulfillment experience is a plus.
  • Other tasks assigned by Manager.

Order-processing for Spare Parts:

Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions related to domestic and/or international order processing. Duties include:

  • Processing orders for materials for both domestic and/or international requests in accordance with company policy and practice.
  • Coordinates and performs activities such as order entry, order acknowledgement, order revision and preparation of some shipping documents.
  • Receives customer requests and prepares documents/trouble tickets related to processing returns (RMA), servicing and exchanges
  • Updates databases with status of returned materials issues and accounts for returns inventory
  • Records and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules

Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
