About the Role

This position exists to conduct data handling and quality analyses. Data Scientists are emerging subject matter experts in their domain, who define projects and their execution. They lead through influence and their focus is on mentoring teams to develop and execute on best practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Working across business/teams to collect, match, and consolidate data.]

  • Performing data analysis for assigned business including design and development of solutions.

  • Making process and/or system improvement recommendations to assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives

  • Summarizing, documenting, and communicateing analytic work and/or results to internal and external clients, and analytic and non-analytic stakeholders.

  • Creating attributes, optimize code and data mine in a LexisNexis Risk Solutions programming language and system (HPCC/ECL) for clusters.

Requirements

  • Have bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or actuarial science.
  • Experience in data manipulation, cleansing and use/creation of relational databases.
  • Be able to learn quickly, work with a team, and communicate effectively.
  • Have advanced English and fluent in Portuguese.
