As part of icare’s major reset to improve recovery and return-to-work outcomes for injured workers, DXC has commenced workers’ compensation claims management in New South Wales.

Join the DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.

The Claims Team Leader will manage a team of claims management and support personnel to achieve processing, quality, return to work and customer service objectives.

Required skills, experience and qualifications

  • Experience within leading in the NSW worker's compensation scheme

  • Experience in case management to effectively facilitate outcomes.

  • Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including the forms of treatment applicable to injuries.

  • Proven conflict resolution skills and an ability to diffuse potential situations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Tertiary or relevant qualifications in health/social services are desirable

  • Ability to work with different IT applications.

  • Understanding of challenges for individuals.

  • Excellent communication on both written and verbal 

  • Well-rounded customer service‎ skills with demonstrated outcomes
