What you'll do...

The Internship

The Walmart Energy Solutions Internship is an 11-week program held during the summer of 2025. It is open to undergraduate students graduating between December 2025 and August 2026. This paid internship will prepare associates for a career with Walmart Energy. Interns will work on meaningful projects, network with industry experts, and develop their skills while having an enriching summer experience.

Our team is engaged in Renewable Energy Strategy, Sustainable Facilities and Acceleration, Business Strategy and Partnerships, Utility Partnerships, Mobility Strategy & Business Development for Retail Charging, Engineering, and Construction Operations, and Energy Project Development.

Energy Business Insights Intern you will work with the Walmart US Energy Solutions team on a project to support the analysis and interpretation of data to aid the team. Areas of work may include Renewable Energy, Utility Partnerships, and Mobility Strategy & Business Development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
  • 0-2 years of full-time relevant experience
  • Passion for Energy and Development
  • Interest in Renewable Energy
  • Collaboration-first working style
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Walmart’s Home Office Hub (Bentonville, AR) after graduation.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00-$35.00*

‎ 

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
