This role is critical to Meter's success

To achieve this mission, we are hiring a leader to build out information security and IT operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring Meter’s infrastructure, systems, and policies provide a secure and productive environment for employees. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is relentlessly focused on delivering best-in-class IT & information security services.

This role is a unique opportunity to shape the IT and security tools that you, your colleagues, and Meter’s customers will rely on each day. You will collaborate with product engineers to ensure robust integration across Meter security appliances, switches, and wireless access points. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our product team to build a solution that delivers on the security requirements of our customers. 

This role is based out of our San Francisco HQ office. 

You will have an impact by

• Ensuring Meter’s solution – across hardware, software, and operations – meets the security and compliance requirements of a growing customer base
• Engaging with customers, auditors, and other external stakeholders in responding to information security and privacy inquiries to help win new business
• Partnering with colleagues across software engineering, hardware engineering, operations, and sales to design and deliver the security, reliability, speed, and controls that our customers demand
• Designing and implementing the IT operations tools, policies and processes that enable a secure and productive work environment for employees in a rapidly growing business

Compensation

We think about Meter's compensation package as a combination of salary, equity, benefits, and the experience of working with a talented team to make the biggest impact of your career. 

• The estimated pay range for this role is $170,000 - $220,000. 
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the Bay Area. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience.
