The Position:  

The Manager, Global Operations Support, Scheduling & Cell Logistics will be an individual contributor responsible for optimizing patient distribution and management across plants, leading process improvement initiatives, developing best practices, and providing support for the three regional operations teams (North America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific). This person must maintain strong relationships with partners across the commercial franchise, the manufacturing and supply chain organizations, and other partner teams to ensure best-in-class customer service is delivered to our patient treatment centers around the world. This position will report to Senior Manager, Global Operations Support, Scheduling and Cell Logistics, and will collaborate closely with other managers within the organization. 

  • Position is office-based in either Seattle, WA or Summit, NJ with in-office attendance required a minimum of 60% of the time. Remote work must be performed at home with a consistent office setup and internet access, as extensive work at computers and phones is essential to job function.  Standard workdays will be Monday through Friday. 

  • Holiday on-call support is required as assigned.   

  • Domestic and international travel is possible but will not exceed 20%.  

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience  

  • 5+ years of work experience in scheduling, planning, operations, logistics, and/or supply chain  

  • Experience working in Salesforce CRM, APEX, Oracle, SAP, and/or other comparable planning/scheduling/execution systems is preferred 

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP/FDA) is preferred 

  • Must have strong proficiency with Office 365 software, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and     Word 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Own, manage, and drive continuous improvement of global processes as assigned 

  • Will manage and drive patient treatment distribution and management across manufacturing plants ensuring maximum utilization and efficiency and mitigating impacts of any potential supply or manufacturing disruptions 

  • Manage data and reporting, including urgent escalations, Over-Haul tracking and exception processes 

  • Analyze trends and develop action plans from feedback, operational metrics, and KPIs 

  • Accountable for individual performance 

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive and professional team atmosphere 

  • Lead and manage regional and cross-functional projects 

  • Lead at least one cross-region working groupand execute relevant tasks 

  • Communicate issues and resolutions with management and key internal and external stakeholders 

  • Provide input into goals and plans to deliver on SCLT’s global strategy 

  • Provide weekly updates on projects and goals ensuring alignment with SCLT strategy 

  • Manage relationships with regional and global partners as assigned 

  • Cover and support Regional Managers when there is a shortage  

  • Act as subject matter expert on global projects and cross-functional initiatives and execute project tasks as assigned

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $97,000 - $121,000,

plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.
