The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Associate Manager plays a pivotal role as the strategic partner and project manager to business leaders and HR partners, shaping and enhancing the unique culture of Hong Kong Disneyland. The ideal candidate will be able to influence and collaborate on diversity and inclusion initiatives, advising and supporting business leaders and teams to deliver on inclusion efforts.
Responsibilities:
Work with relevant key stakeholders, including but not limited to the Steering Committee, Communication and Public Affairs, and Inclusion Advisory Council, to ensure the alignment and execution of the D&I strategy.
Collaborate with HR leaders to develop HR D&I initiatives in Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Organization / Talent Development, Cast engagement, etc.
Design, develop, and implement resort-wide initiatives to celebrate D&I and raise awareness, including segment programs, customized learning solutions, external vendor programs (as appropriate), and D&I events. These initiatives are about awareness and celebrating the unique strengths and perspectives that diversity brings. Integrate the right content into the leadership development curriculum to ensure that these values are instilled at every level of the organization.
Collaborate with the Inclusion Advisory Council (IAC) and work as a strategic partner in building a rational framework that allows the council to continue grow and operate effectively.
Act as the Point of Contact and collaborate with D&I teams across the Disney Experience Segment and international sites on segment-wide D&I initiatives.
Conduct ongoing benchmarking and share D&I best practices internally and externally to ensure continuous improvement.
Partner with Communication and Public Affairs to create successful D&I stories of cast, business, and Inclusion Advisory Council (IAC).
Compile, analyze, maintain, and report on internal and external D&I-related data and metrics to improve D&I at the workplace; deal with other ad hoc D&I-related matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and/or equivalent combination of experience.
Preferably 5 years of professional experience in the relevant program (HR, L&D, D&I, Marketing, Communication, etc.).
Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Certification in D&I and experience in managing the D&I Employee Resources Group is a plus.
Professional D&I experience in large-size organizations preferred.
Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese), oral and written, is a plus.
