Job Summary:

Maintains agreed-upon inventory levels to provide a flow of raw materials and components from the supply chain to the manufacturing facility.
 

What You Will Do:

  • To Supervise the Dealer & Customer Services Order Analysts by providing guidance for personnel development, team development, performance & measurements, technical skill development and is also responsible for all personnel issues

  • Lead Global/region specific projects to drive improvements to support Order Management Strategy

  • Monitoring and following (and at times placing) parts orders including addressing back orders through interaction with process support teams (expediting, purchasing, warehouse, quality, etc)

  • Coordinate with facility managers, marketing organizations, product groups and dealers in order to monitor, support, and facilitate export consolidation orders, overseas dealer order activity and Caterpillar Export Service orders

  • Work closely with Legal Services Division and Regulatory Compliance to ensure export orders are shipped in compliance with Government and Company regulations.

  • Work with global Order Management peers to ensure international order support is being provided in a timely and accurate fashion.

    • Hold periodic or as-needed meetings/calls with respective network customer services staff and expediting teams to address/clarify issues and questions and to stay current on ordering processes, part status and/or system updates.

    • This may require some flexibility in hours to accommodate dealer discussions.

Order Management Goals, but are not limited to:

  • Supervisory support for Dealer and Customer services team members

  • Develop personal, technical and professional skills for team members

  • Setting, tracking and being accountable for team goals and measurements Identify opportunities on anomaly for dealer orders

  • Timely completion of assigned projects

  • Initiative and possibly other aspects with respect to engaging help to identify solutions

What You Have:

  • Bachelor degree / Diploma (3 years) with equivalent experience

  • Minimum seven years of job-related experience in supply chain domain including two years of team lead/supervisory experience

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to communicate effectively across diverse cultures and background

  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal, team skills and willingness to promote change in a positive fashion

  • Experience in leading projects

  • Ability to handle dealer concerns and complaints effectively and negotiate best solution among many parties involved

  • Should be a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Additional Information:

  • Should be willing to work in AP/EAME/US shifts

  • This position requires no more than 5% travel field
