Who we’re looking for:

Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama, Inc. (TMMAL) is looking to fill a Production Control (PC) Co-op. The primary duties of this role are:

  • Logistics Dock Support – Understand dock unload sequence and timing for all products produced at TMMAL.  Implement a progress tracking system (Power-Bi) to help Internal Logistics manage to this schedule.  Evaluate Results as part of the PDCA cycle (Plan Check Do Act).
  • Overflow Management – Support the investigate of the root cause of both North American and Overseas Overflow (Ordering issue – frequency, quantity; Flow Rack Capacity – IL zone or lineside; Delivery Issue; Unloading Issue; Other).  Implement countermeasures to reduce the overflow quantity in the future. 

Location:

The Co-op will be located at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama (TMMAL) in Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited bachelor’s or above degree program studying Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related major
  • Sophomores or above with a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher
  • Proficient in Access, Excel and Power BI
  • Possess strong computer skills to support data retrieval, analysis and report creation
  • Have lawful, unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
