Apply fit for purpose risk assessment methodologies to identify and evaluate operational risks.
Apply ALARP principle in risk assessments and communication of results.
Conduct risk tolerability assessments.
Conduct value assessments (risk and benefit analysis).
Develop an understanding of safety, operational reliability, commercial and other operational risks.
Be familiar with industrial practices in quantifying risks.
Engage partners to understand their needs in risk modelling and incorporate them in the development of risk assessment guidelines.
Provide clear and concise documentation to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Interpret risk results to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with partners within the organization to provide appropriate risk input and perspective.
You have the following education and experience:
Engineering degree and four‐plus years’ experience OR six‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
Professional Engineering designation.
Relevant industry experience conducting, facilitating and managing risk assessments.
Highly numerate, logical, self-motivated individual with an eye for detail.
Ability to present and facilitate to a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities at a time.
Ability to compile technical risk reports and documentation to support risk-informed decision making.
