The UMB Registered Fund team, which manages the daily accounting, tax, audit, administration, and operational tasks for mutual fund and collective trust clients.

As the Fund Accounting Intern, you will be assigned a 4 to 5 registered funds and handle the day-to-day operations for those clients. This can include a number of reconciliations, security processing and valuations. This is a collaborative role that has daily deadlines, with all work being reviewed by a Sr. Lead in the department.

How you will spend your time:

  • Cash Reconciliation between Fund Accounting and Custody for each individual mutual fund
  • Tying reports together to make sure same cash amount is posted
  • View daily reports that are emailed from clients
  • Cash forecasting for client
  • Work with external vendors such as Bloomberg

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $25,640.00 - Maximum: $59,330.00
