Job Summary:
Comcast is seeking a senior copywriter to join the Brand strategy team. This person will support best-in-class development of Xfinity Brand messaging guidelines and implementation of the brand persona across the organization. This role will use the new brand voice guidelines to translate product features, and consumer insights into simple, clear, benefit-led consumer messaging that reinforces the Xfinity brand purpose, principles, and positioning. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing & syntax skills, be a creative thinker, a self-starter, a brilliant communicator, driven by a genuine curiosity and passion for building brands people care about.
Job Description
Primary duties:
- Develop and update brand messaging guidelines for all new and existing Xfinity products, services, features, and initiatives with the new brand voice.
- Adapt messaging and guidance for multiple different channels with different needs, audiences and real estates.
- Work with the brand team and key cross-functional stakeholders to craft consumer messaging in alignment with writing best practices, brand voice and brand strategy
- Act in a creative director aspect in helping other teams bring the brand voice through various channels.
Job requirements:
- 7 – 10 years of recent copywriting experience
- Flexible at managing multiple projects and quick deadlines
- Excellent language & writing skills
- Ability to synthesize and translate insights and data into consumer messaging
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic, and fast paced environment
- Self-starter with agility and flexibility to adapt to changing requests in a fast-paced environment
- Follows through to ensure that deadlines are met and deliverables meet specifications.
- Coordinates multiple priorities while meeting simultaneous deadline
