As a Senior Originator at ACT Group in China, you will work with the most interesting clients around China and beyond; each with their own set of exciting challenges. You will manage and grow your own portfolio, sourcing environmental certificates using your strong interpersonal skills and charming personality to gain your clients’ confidence and trust.

 You will

• Formulate and implement strategic approaches to maximize the sourcing and profit margins of REC and carbon product within the Chinese market 
• Asset registration: utilize industry experience with power grid companies, project developers, and power generation enterprises to advance the registration and trading of green certificates and carbon credits
• Conduct negotiations and finalize agreements for the acquired assets while adhering to the prevailing market rules and organizational guidelines
• Work with the team to develop and optimize solutions for managing and utilizing sourced products
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and updates in domestic and international carbon emissions trading, green electricity, and environmental certificate markets, keeping up with new regulations, policies, and technological advancements.
• Identify suitable clients in the market.

 Job requirements

• Fluent in Chinese and good English proficiency is required
• bachelor’s/master's degree, preferably in Energy, Environmental, Electricity,  Business and/or other similar fields  
• 8 years’ experience, minimum of 5 yrs experience in the power market, carbon/REC project development  or carbon trading
• Experience in trading in Chinese domestic ETS and CCER market, or power trading is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle constructive criticism and not afraid to fail and try again
• Aptitude for taking initiative, a commercial and creative mind with an entrepreneurial attitude

职位介绍

• 制定并实施战略方法，以最大化中国可再生能源证书（REC）和碳产品的销售额和利润率
• 资产注册：利用与电网公司、和发电企业以及项目开发商的行业网络，推进绿色证书和碳信用的注册和交易。
• 谈判并最终确定收购资产的协议，同时遵守市场现行规则和组织指导方针。
• 与团队合作，开发和优化管理和利用采购的产品的解决方案。
• 紧跟最新趋势和更新，了解国内外碳排放交易、绿色电力和环境证书市场，跟上新的法规、政策和技术进步。
• 在市场中获得适合产品的客户

 工作要求

• 流利的中文和良好的英语能力
• 拥有学士/硕士学位，最好是在能源、环境、电力、商业及/或其他类似领域
• 8年的工作经验，至少5年的在电力市场,碳/绿证项目开发或碳交易领域经验
• 在中国国内ETS和CCER市场，或者电力交易方面的经验是一个加分项
• 优秀的沟通和人际交往能力
• 能够处理建设性批评，不怕失败，愿意再次尝试
• 具有主动性，具有商业和创造性思维，以及企业家精神
