Summary: As a Mechanical Engineering Practitioner, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and building structures, machines, devices, systems, and mechanical processes. Your typical day will involve 3D modeling, generating, building, and testing functional prototypes to validate feasibility, and identifying opportunities for technological innovation. Job location: - Gurgaon Roles & Responsibilities: • Minimum 5 to 8 year of experience in Vehicles Design Part and Integration on Creo platform. • Min 3 years’ experience in Automotive On-Highway or Off-Highway Segment • Sheetmetal components manufacturing for Off Highway or On Highway components. • 2D drafting of parts without error as per organization Guidelines. • Part drawing, assembly drawing and specification release as per organization Standard practice. • Exposure in using design tool like DFMEA, DMU, ECO/ECR processing and design calculation. • Good understanding of Sheetmetal Design & Calculation, Stack-Up Analysis and General Dimensioning & Tolerances • Analysis the issue/Problem and find out the solution by using the best design practice like stack-up Analysis, etc. • Visual mockup Enovia, Creo, DMU, TCaE, Vis Mockup. • Co-ordinate with inter-departments of New Assembly operation for manufacturing & Validation and resolve issues with Process Team. • Follow up with External/internal stakeholders for design reviews. • Able to guide and help the people working in the same team. • Others: Good communication, Sound mind, eager to learn new technology, Adaptable, Punctual, hardworking, MS-office, Presentation skills, Written English proficient, Verbal English proficient. Who are we looking for? The person should be independent & experienced in handling Sheetmetal components for Tractor domain. He should be expert in Creo/Vis Mockup/TCaE tools & change management process. The person should be aware of Design quality procedures such as DFMEA/5steps or 7 steps problem resolution methods. Should be able complete given assignments with little mentoring & monitoring. The person needs to have previous experience in working for On Highway / Off Highway segment.
