Northrop Grumman is seeking Mechanical Engineers. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Cape Canaveral, FL.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Maritime/Land Systems and Sensors division, Marine Systems business unit. Marine Systems is a leading provider of missile launcher systems, propulsion systems, and power generation systems for naval submarines and surface ships.

Basic Qualifications: 

This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2.  Basic qualifications for a Mechanical Engineer 1 are a Bachelor’s Degree. Basic qualifications for a Mechanical Engineer 2 are a Master’s Degree.

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s or Master's) from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
• The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• CAD experience (Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Machinery coursework or experience
• Navy experience
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Salary Range:

• Level 1 (Bachelor's): $56,600 - $85,000/year
• Level 2 (Master's): $68,500 - $102,700/year
