Position Summary

***This position follows a hybrid working schedule of three days onsite and two days remote per week***


This position will lead the Business Continuity and enterprise Crisis Management programs at CVS Health, including managing teams of colleagues. The director will support in the overall program lifecycle for these programs. This role will support the development of business continuity plans including incident response, business unit exercises, emergency response processes, business continuity lifecycle management, crisis management coordination, after action responses, and external partner engagement. Additionally, this position will a support leadership in improving overall program maturity and measuring progress against industry standards.

  • Be responsible for implementing and continuously optimizing the Program’s within CVS Health.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the Program’s life cycle, management, governance and risks that have the potential to impact the CVS Health.
  • Be accountable for maintaining the appropriate metrics and risk information to drive continuous improvement of the Programs.
  • Develop and maintain a sound governance that keeps all each of the Program’s components aligned, current, relevant, actionable and auditable.
  • Mentor colleagues to ensure consistency and effective management of the development of the resiliency programs.
  • Partner with senior leadership in the business and develop strong working relationships to deliver robust resiliency strategies.
  • Ensure compliance to maintenance requirements, including periodic plan reviews and exercises.
  • Be the Business Continuity SME within CVS Health responsible for implementing, maintaining, exercising and facilitating the effective management of the Programs.
  • Facilitate implementation of the Business Continuity program lifecycle, ensuring the effective development of business continuity assessments, business impact analyses, protection and recovery strategies, and business continuity plans. Drive the understanding and adoption of the Business Continuity program within CVS Health.
  • Ensure continuous Crisis Management readiness and coordination, when necessary.
  • Lead Crisis Response activations across all applicable business segments and shared services.



Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business continuity management and/or organizational risk management.
  • 5+ years of supervisor experience.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a Business Continuity programs for a healthcare company.
  • Experience managing a Crisis Management program.
  • Certifications in Business Continuity Professional Programs (CBCP, CBCI, MBCP)



Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,500.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
