The Product Support Logistics Division (PSLD) Procurement Accounting Manager provides financial leadership and support to an organization of about 400 procurement professionals supporting direct material and freight services for all businesses within the enterprise. This position also provides leadership to two direct report that are focused primarily on direct material and freight rate analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
What You Will Do:
- Manage a team of 2-3 finance professionals leading the Services Distribution & Digital (SD&D) material and freight rate analysis
- SD&D and Aftermarket Parts Lead for material and enterprise freight rate forecasting, reporting and analysis
- Lead Reduced Purchased Material financial governance and reporting processes
- Support monthly leadership presentations on financial and non-financial results
- Procurement Lead in data analytics process improvements
- Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Champion the use of new technologies and tools for analyzing financial data and driving efficiency improvements to monthly / forecasting processes.
What You Have:
- Education/Experience: This position typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 6+ years of job related experience
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
- Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Power BI knowledge
- CMA or CPA
- MBA or Masters Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
