Job Description

The Sr. Project Manager role coordinates and manages various development projects through all phases of the development lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, release and closing. The Sr. Project Manager will manage stakeholder communications, project requirements, work breakdown, development engineering, testing and release. You will report to the Manager, Portfolio Project Management Office.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and planning across multiple functional areas
  • Coordinating internal and external development and test resources and working with resource managers and other project managers to insure proper staffing, project alignment and integration.
  • The Sr. Project Manager role coordinates and manages various development projects through all phases of the development lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, release and closing.
  • The Sr. Project Manager role may assist in the development of business and marketing strategies optimizing the performance of new and existing product lines.
  • The Sr. Project Manager will own the project responsibility for the definition of project priorities, delivery of project expectations, and identifying and mitigating issues and risks.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Management Role
  • PMP certification
  • Lean Six Sigma or Greenbelt Certification
  • 3+ years of process improvement experience
  • Strong understanding of Change Management processes and ADKAR methodology
  • Ability to communicate and present to various levels of the organization including leadership, stakeholders, SME's, and other
  • Previous experience managing technology projects such as SaaS or IaaS
  • Similar industry experience such as technical knowledge in industrial controls, new product design, hardware/software, product testing, manufacturing and/or continuation & product life cycle engineering, is a plus.
