Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:
Deliver Sales Growth. Execute country sales strategies to drive new business.
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
Principal Responsibility:
- Business Planning. Conduct business reviews and monthly forecasting to drive and prioritize sales activity. Maintain and pdate ASPEN database for the territory
- Resource Management. Work with regional support team including FSE/FAS/Marketing to drive for results.
- Ensure all company activities are conducted within the framework of the Abbott code of Business Conduct and applicable laws.
Specific Duties:
- Provide sales information to Business Manager each month to support development of proposed forecast
- Work with Business Manager to develop and execute sales plan once proposed forecast is approved.
- Implement product sales strategies to ensure sales goals and targets are achieved.
- Utilize selling skills to ensure sales goals and targets are achieved.
- Identify new business opportunities and gain new business.
- Develop and communicate: daily, weekly & monthly plans and result; cycle goals, sales targets and results to Sales and Marketing.
- Attend marketing activities, conference, health talks, exhibition, booth and trade displays as required.
- Ensure all activities in territory are executed with professionalism and comply with abbott standards and Code of Conduct.
- Attend regular department meetings with manager to build in continuous feedback mechanism.
Education:
- MS or BS in Scientific or Medical related field.
