What You Will Do:
Responsible for preparation and analysis of financial Forecast updates for GDS segment;
Responsible for developing financial analysis and presentation materials on GDS performance based on forecast to support VPs/ELTs reviews and Board meetings;
Take the lead in handling EGI forecast process from end to end through working with various stakeholder groups and integrating legacy processes in order to develop GDS forecast;
Provide timely financial support, analysis and interpretation of financial performance to Senior Leadership (Corporate and Brian/Michelle/ULTs), supporting strategic decisions and ensuring achievement of financial targets;
Provide overall financial planning and analysis (FP&A) oversight to various groups, including Economics and Demand Forecasting, Operating Costs, Capital FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Business Development, and Regulatory, through coordination and collaboration on assumptions and key inputs/analysis for financial planning;
Work closely with Corporate FP&A team and provide BU support to overall ENB planning and performance reporting to Senior Management;
Accountable to build and maintain financial models ensuring accuracy and completeness of information and consistency with Corporate systems;
Define new FP&A processes and controls using Power BI solutions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all planning data and to optimally facilitate financial planning activities;
This position requires solid understanding of GDS business, key drivers to financial performance and risks/opportunities;
Be a system authority for questions and provide technical support and training to others as needed (e.g. SmartView/Essbase/Hyperion/BPC products user training);
This position requires ongoing support of ad hoc requests given the business environment is continuously evolving.
Who You Are:
Required:
Degree and finance related designation (CMA, CA, CPA, CGA, or similar) or a master’s business degree (MBA) from a nationally recognized program required
Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience related to accounting and financial planning & analysis
Good eye for business and understanding of regulatory environment, financial management strategies and financial reporting requirements
Proven standout colleague, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships
Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Strong level of personal and professional integrity
Experienced working with Oracle/SAP and Hyperion
Preferred:
Some project management skills preferred
