ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Manager, IMG Administration is a key leader within the Investment Management Group (IMG). This role provides strategic oversight across administrative operations, data analytics, investment compliance, governance, and investment risk management. The role requires a deep understanding of IMG systems, the ability to configure solutions that mitigate risk, and strong influence across business lines, IT, Operations, Compliance, Audit, Legal, and Business Controls.

The position manages employees performing functions related to alternative investments, compliance, oversight, and reporting; leads and/or participates in IMG Councils; and drives process improvements and complex projects impacting the broader Wealth & Asset Management (W&AM) organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

IMG Administration Leadership

  • Independently identifies and implements value‑add processes and procedures for IMG.
  • Provides recurring and ad hoc management reporting, metrics, and dashboards for senior management, IMG Councils, and the Bancorp Trust Investment Committee (BTIC), leveraging automation and data analytics.
  • Functions as liaison between business lines, Operations, Technology, and other partners on initiatives involving IMG.

Audit & Regulatory Coordination

  • Acts as a gatekeeper for IMG during internal Audit and OCC investment‑related reviews.
  • Interacts directly with internal Audit and the OCC to fulfill requests and respond to inquiries.
  • Responsibility 3: Investment Compliance Oversight
  • Leads IMG investment compliance, reporting, and ongoing development of controls across systems including the IMG Compliance Portal, Unity, Charles River, and AMTrust.

Investment Manager Support & Training

  • Oversees and conducts orientation for new Investment Managers and manages quarterly education sessions.
  • Provides high‑touch customer service for systems access, coding issues, and compliance inquiries; escalates critical matters to senior IMG leadership.
  • Responsibility 5: Operational & Investment Processing Oversight
  • Oversees SRI screening, alternative investment servicing, and mutual fund share class exchange processes.

Process Improvement & Change Management

  • Participates in and supports change management efforts tied to process improvement initiatives.
  • Partners with management, project champions, and process owners to align improvements with business objectives.
  • Plays a key role in planning, testing, and implementing system enhancements and conversions impacting the IMG platform.

Investment Risk Management & Governance

  • Ensures effective communication of IMG policies and procedures to Investment Managers and IMG leadership in partnership with First Line of Defense Risk.
  • Partners with Compliance, Business Development, and Internal Audit to deliver risk‑controlled processes and technology solutions.
  • Creates and maintains compliance rules in electronic compliance systems and trading platforms.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves complex issues.
  • Serves as gatekeeper for all internal and external audits performed within IMG.
  • Resolves issues raised by first, second, and third lines of defense and external auditors.
  • Develops and executes ongoing metrics tracking and review processes (e.g., KRIs, Reg R monitoring).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in investments, compliance, operations, and data analytics/computing or relevant experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualified candidates will possess a highly advanced to expert degree of proficiency (typically from 10 years of work or practical experience), in: 

  • Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated management experience with strong leadership, critical thinking, and collaboration abilities.
  • Project & Prioritization Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate decisively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Strong initiative, high accuracy, organizational discipline, and the ability to identify insights and trends through data.
  • Investment Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of investments (equities, SMAs, fixed income, alternatives), their markets, and characteristics.
  • CrossFunctional Influence: Ability to influence peers, colleagues, and managers across business and divisional lines to resolve complex issues.

Qualified candidates will possess a highly advanced to expert degree of proficiency (typically from 10 years of work or practical experience), across a suite of skills including, but not limited to: 

  • Wealth Management & Trust Expertise: Wealth Management experience, including Trust knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills such as ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, write clear documentation, and present ideas effectively.
  • Strategic RelationshipBuilding: Ability to collaborate effectively with partners across business lines (i.e. Operations, Compliance, Technology, Audit, and Risk).
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Ability to enhance processes, respond to shifting business priorities, and recommend improvements that drive effectiveness.
  • System & Technology Fluency: Familiarity with platforms such as PowerBI, Charles River, Unity, AMTrust, and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CoPilot).

Total Base Pay Range 121,900.00 - 262,100.00 USD Annual
