About the Role

The Implementation Consultant is the primary technical resource for insurance carriers in the design, development, and integration of their automated system-to-system applications for ordering LexisNexis Risk reports.  This is a customer-facing, consultative role, charged with ensuring quality and timeliness of project implementations, understanding of customer objectives, and customer satisfaction for an assigned set of clients and products. 

Responsibilities

  • Having leadership of projects with multiple clients, ensuring that LexisNexis internal resources understand and are focused on the objectives of the project; anticipating roadblocks and working to remove them; working across teams to find solutions to customer issues; managing conflicting priorities with customers, and developing implementation project plans.

  • Building relationships with all levels of Product Management personnel.

  • Serving as the team's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the National Credit File (NCF) product. Assisting team members with their NCF implementation when requested.

  • Taking a consultative approach to leading our customers through their implementation and development lifecycle.  We develop and share best practices for the use of data to enhance consumer experiences.  We provide insightful product knowledge to help customers gain the most benefit from LexisNexis Risk products. 

  • Conducting pre-implementation workshops; establishing connectivity; configuring product systems; project leadership; and in-depth product knowledge.  

  • Taking solution-oriented approach to make customers effort as seamless as possible. 

  • Monitoring results against expected outcomes and proactively communicate to leadership or senior team members on any significant risks. 

  • Facilitating customer training and workshops to an audience of technical and business contacts of varying levels (including C-suite). 

  • Understanding the insurance industry, products, systems, and processes. 

  • Some travel will be required based on business need.


Requirements

  • Demonstrate high communication skills – able to communicate clearly, effectively and in a timely manner.

  • Experience working in either information technology or business (implementation, product management and quality assurance).

  • In-depth knowledge of the NCF product to include account setup, vendor relationship, and functionality.

  • Be self-starting – resolves problems using existing solutions and working with minimal guidance.

  • Be able to plan, organize, and structure work.

  • Show excellent analytical and critical thinking skills – able to analyze and solve problems.

  • Build Independent actions and goes beyond what the job or situation require.

  • Possess knowledge of tools including Salesforce, JIRA, MyCRM, Soap.

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field.

  • Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to instill confidence, influence others, and represent LexisNexis at customers meetings, industry conferences, events, and throughout the organization.
