Description -
This role manages the team responsible for the successful integration of the HP printer management solutions into the workforce experience platform. As HP transforms into a Software as a Service (SaaS) business, this role is crucial in ensuring that our printer management solutions are seamlessly integrated and perform optimally within the platform. This position is also responsible for leading the success of software products by envisioning, strategizing, and executing on product development initiatives. The role maintains a clear product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business objectives and enhance user experiences. The role proactively identifies and resolves strategic issues that could potentially impact the team's ability to achieve its goals.
Responsibilities
• Manages the implementation and ongoing success of software products, encompassing (re)defining requirements, sprint planning, and release management.
• Monitors competitive market to determine client needs for certain product improvements.
• Strategically partners with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
• Collaborates with the software engineering team on feature ideas and prototypes to bring potential solutions to life.
• Advises key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle.
• Plays a leadership role and drives the progress of the product management function.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to other product managers engaged in applications and solutions development.
• Establishes operational objectives, policies, procedures, and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in product management, digital or software product development, or a related field.
• Experience in the print industry with a focus on HP printer management solutions is recommended.

The base pay range for this role is $139,00 to $202,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
