Job Description Summary

The finance function plays an important role in supporting the business, and the finance intern will be assigned to clusters and will have the opportunity to develop dashboards, standardization and automation to multiple Finance teams, like Financial Planning & Analysis, Controllership, or tax Teams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands on finance experience, with significant responsibility and exposure in a range of areas.

Job Description

What you'll do:

• Analyse areas of opportunity in the finance function related to Data, Business Intelligence or Automation.
• Promote good cross-functional relations and provide excellent service to all our stakeholders on any type of requests.
• Collect, manage and prepare requirements and inputs.
• Design solutions and propose them to stakeholders.
• Be part of the development of the solutions.
• Support monthly and quarterly closing activities by preparing ledger reports, validate accuracy of data and dive into issues in case they happen.
• Support periodical audits (internal and external).
• Work on ad hoc requests and projects assigned by the Finance Manager.
• The candidate will gain a valuable insight into the operation of a successful business. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide an excellent start into a career in finance and IT.

What you'll bring:

• Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in IT, or alternatively in Accounting, Business, Finance with a tech mindset. Preferably 7th semester or later.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and inter-personal skills.
• Knowledge of BI/Analytics tools, preferably Ms Power BI.
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Power point).
• Fluency in English with good written and presentation skills.

What would make you stand out:

• Prior experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
• Knowledge of Finance or Accounting.
• High energy level.
