On Location seeks a commercially minded and data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to execute CRM activities for our Olympic Hospitality business. Working with internal teams, external stakeholders and agencies, this is fantastic opportunity to help shape the way the Olympics are experienced and engaged with by consumers and businesses globally.

Reporting to the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, the role is responsible for driving sales of Olympic Hospitality packages using a range of direct marketing channels, and securing growth for future Games by developing a world class customer retention programme.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish a world class, data-driven CRM programme incorporating campaigns and automations to maximise sales, customer retention and lifetime value
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey and customer lifecycle to build compelling and timely personalized communications 
  • Utilize customer data, product knowledge and market research to segment and target customers across a range of countries and time zones
  • Manage the contact database, including growth, segmentation and hygiene
  • Build, test and optimize a channel mix that goes beyond email, such as SMS, push notifications, bots, messaging apps 
  • Implement robust testing and optimization for all communication types and landing pages to ensure optimal deliverability, engagement, UX, conversion rates and retention
  • Ensure assets and activities are fit for purpose to effectively target different key customer segments in multiple countries, languages and time zones
  • Track weekly performance of all channels and activities against KPIs
  • Brief and manage freelancers, agencies and internal specialists in creating highly effective content and designs
  • Ensure all activities are aligned with brand guidelines and strategic objectives

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 2+ years’ CRM experience, ideally in an ecommerce environment
  • Proven track record delivering strong results
  • Experience using enterprise CRM software such as Salesforce or equivalent
  • Keen understanding of the customer journey and customer lifecycle
  • Ability to leverage data to inform CRM activities, testing and reporting
  • Experience managing databases
  • Experience utilizing a range of communication channels beyond email
  • knowledge of CRO best practice across relevant platforms such as landing pages and forms
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Project management capabilities
  • Proven track record in translating strategic direction into actions and then implementing for maximum ROI
