Temporary Manager – Reporting Compliance


Global Banking Risk Consulting Practice

Role Summary

RSM is seeking a Temporary Manager – Regulatory Compliance Reporting to support Compliance QAR–driven reporting and dashboarding for large banking institutions. This role requires a seasoned compliance and/or internal audit professional who understands compliance reporting and the maintenance of supporting documentation that withstands regulatory and internal audit scrutiny. The individual will serve as a hands-on leader, ensuring reporting accuracy, auditability, and maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and delivery of Compliance QAR reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations for large banking clients.
  • Design, review, and maintain dashboards and reports, ensuring alignment with internal standards and governance expectations.
  • Develop and retain supporting schedules, source data documentation, and backup files to support audit conclusions and management reporting.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure reporting integrity.
  • Provide hands-on oversight, coaching, and quality review for junior team members supporting audit reporting.
  • Support compliance activities including issue tracking, issue validation, management action plans, and exam support.
  • Identify reporting gaps and recommend enhancements to strengthen audit governance and transparency.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Banking experience (preferably in compliance) within large banking institutions.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations and products.
  • Proven experience developing dashboards, executive reporting, and committee materials.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Ability to operate independently in a client-facing consulting role.

Compensation Range: $48 - $72 per hour
