Role Responsibilities: 

As a Senior Specialist Regulatory and Registration you will be responsible for: 

• Champion SAP-EHS data integrity and lead improvement initiatives

• Manage REACH and REACH-like regulations (EU, UK, Turkey and Ukraine), focusing on volume monitoring and substance definitions

• Act as the regulatory bridge between internal teams—R&D, business units, and data systems

• Lead chemical identity and nomenclature validation efforts.

• Monitor, interpret, and assess the impact of chemical regulations, communicating insights to stakeholders

• Ensure compliance for sample shipments across Europe, supporting warehouse and R&D operations.

• Drive regulatory reviews for BOM changes and new product introductions.

• Support strategic projects including sales, acquisitions, and IT data consolidation.

• Deliver impactful presentations and training to internal stakeholders.

• Represent Huntsman in industry forums and trade associations.

Experience and Competencies: 

We are looking for experienced candidates with:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, (Life) Science or an equivalent relevant degree in Technical, Science or Engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in REACH, product stewardship, or regulatory affairs within the chemical industry.

• Deep understanding of chemistry, REACH, CLP and chemical control legislations relevant for Huntsman businesses.

• Advanced knowledge of SAP-EHS and SVT module (mandatory), plus proficiency in tools like Excel, Power Query, and databases.

• Proven project management skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.

• A proactive, curious mindset with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.

• Willingness to travel occasionally
