The general working area postcode will be S66 however this will be extended into the wider region of DN as per the business requirements

We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you!

To be considered for this role, you will need experience in at least one of the following areas:

o   Mechanical engineering

o   Electrical engineering

o   Hydraulics

Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification

You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders 

Must hold a full UK driving licence

Tasks and Qualifications:

• Find, diagnose and rectify faults on customer forklift trucks, and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible
• Adhere to all company H&S and Environmental and site policies, procedures and practices and ensure we operate in an environmentally safe work place.
• Ensure all paperwork and IT systems are completed accurately and within the stipulated time period
• Work under your own initiative without constant supervision
• Ensure all allocated work is completed and to notify Manager or Controller if in arrears
• Ensure that the specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times.
