You display self awareness and awareness of others to expertly handle situations and relationships across organizations. You are recognized as a trusted mentor helping others grow. • Product Analytics (Currently leveraging Amplitude)

  • Business Intelligence (Tableau, Domo etc)

It is essential that the candidate is experienced in both leading product strategy for new initiatives, working backwards from customer problems/pain points to deliver value to the business.  This role has the opportunity to lead two key initiatives for Data Engineering & Data Science.  ROBBIE will allow non-technical users throughout Zillow to answer business questions in natural language.  The Metrics Platform (Semantic Layer) will solve the analytical problems around metric duplication, transparency, accuracy and granularity.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Product Strategy with a convincing and thoughtful approach (written and presentation).  Demonstrate mastery of your problem space to peers, leadership and stakeholders.

  • Lead Product Marketing - driving adoption of DE’s analytical products across Zillow by focusing on the value they bring.

  • Prioritize requirements and quarterly OKRs with your data engineering team

  • Engage with other PMs, Data Scientists, Analysts and Engineering customers to understand their data analytics needs.  Regular Customer Forums will be expected.

  • Own the requirements and evolution of both ROBBIE (LLM) and Metrics Platform (Semantic Layer).

  • Communicate and collaborate by articulating the “why” and "what" customer problem to solve, working with others, and balancing their point of view with solicited input of others

  • Deliver impact and results by defining success metrics, analyzing data for engagement insights

  • Inform DE’s broader data strategy by understanding customer needs and technical designs of products to serve them

  • Mobilize your team to do their best work by providing clear direction, working with TPMs to handle dependencies, removing blockers and applying effective operating rhythms
