About the Role:

We are looking to Hire a Princ. Software engineer/developer to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows. The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with the required Programming language. They are a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills and are able to communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to “take the wheel” when necessary.

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Lead the design, development & maintenance of iOS Applications.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers & other engineers to define, design & ship new features/enhancements.

  • Ensure the performance, quality & responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing & benchmarking

  • Identify & correct bottlenecks, memory leaks & performance issues.

  • Stay up to date with latest industry trends, emerging technologies & the latest iOS developments & provide a roadmap to implement the same into our products.

  • Contribute towards automation for QA.

  • Fast learner who can contribute from day one.

  • Adamant about writing quality, reusable, and performant code

  • Performing Peer Code Reviews expecting the same level of quality and reusability

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.

  • Can rapidly deploy, learn and iterate on new features.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role:

  • 9+ years of relevant experience.

  • Extensive experience in developing iOS Apps using both Swift and Objective-C.

  • Strong understanding of iOS SDK, XCode & related tools.

  • Experience with SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency

  • Familiarity with network programming & working with RESTful APIs.

  • Experience with asynchronous programming using GCD & Operation Queues.

  • Knowledge of local data storage solutions like SQLite, Realm, Core Data.

  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts.

  • Strong knowledge of iOS UI Design principles, patterns & best practices

  • Experience with iOS development architectures like MVVM, VIPER & Clean Architecture

  • Experience with Performance tuning & optimization techniques including using Instruments for profiling.

  • Good understanding of Design Patterns.

  • Experience in working with Push Notification & working with APNs.

  • Understanding of mobile application security best practices including OWASP guidelines.

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as XCUITest

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Teamcity, etc.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience in Mobile Automation tools such as Appium is a plus.
