Job Description

As Sr. Supply Network Operations Manager for the Cincinnati Chemicals Plant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end Supply Network capabilities for both Surfactant (Fabric Care) and Glycerin (P&G Chemicals production.   This role will be responsible to operate and improve a supply chain supporting customers internal (inter-plant) and external to P&G that delivers cost, cash, touch reduction goals, is sustainable, and provides the best value to Fabric Care and P&G Chemicals. 

Our materials are intermediates to 19 of P&G’s Billion-dollar brands.  Because of this diverse customer base, there is a unique opportunity to improve results and build relationships across multiple P&G Sectors, as well as understanding and influencing P&G’s position with external customers by demonstrating our Supply Chain systems as a point of differentiation in the marketplace.

This individual will play an important and highly visible role in managing systems, dynamic teams, and the overall supply network processes E2E.  North America Glycerin and Cincinnati Chemicals Plant Surfactants are a sole supplier of surfactants. As such, this role has ownership and interface all the way from raw material purchases, through production and driving sales at customer locations.


Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the planning, transportation, site operations, and customer organizations.
  • Contribute to Plant’s integrated work systems phase progression by leading the Plant Supply Network department to continue meeting the expectations for integrated work system phase progression and audits.
  • Leading the monthly meetings, and supply network operations standard work processes including master production scheduling and material utilization.
  • Member of the Cincinnati Chemicals Plant Leadership Pillar Team, driving capability improvements and loss elimination.
  • You are the Plant representative to category loss analysis and value stream mapping workshops.
  • You will also be a key leader on the Plant Leadership Team.  You will have coaching and development responsibilities for department technicians as well as mentoring/on the floor coaching for technicians in the operating and material handling areas of the Plant.
  • Lead the Site stewardship systems, that ensure compliance around our key systems such as safety, quality, and purchasing.
  • Lead the Site BCP update process including being a part of the Site Crisis Management Team and own the annual Crisis drill table-top testing and execution.
  • Leader and P&G contact for the Campus Partner Rail team. Coordinate quarterly and ad hoc meetings to cover Railyard issues. Work with Plant Finance on building the annual railyard budget in addition to cross charge and invoice management with campus partners. Work with Engineering Department to complete current fiscal year and five-year master plan regarding railyard maintenance.
  • Lead the annual plant operating strategy and system renewal for both Surfactant and Glycerin business.

Job Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of supply chain network operations experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of leading teams/organizations
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Management, Supply Chain Management or applicable field

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Operations, Management, Supply Chain Management or applicable field
  • PowerBI
