We're on the hunt for a Senior Data Analyst who's ready to take on meaningful challenges and make a real impact.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be a key player in our team, using your skills and experience in:

  • Data analytics and visualization. If you've got experience in SQL (4-6 years), Tableau (2-4 years), and Python (1-3 years) that's a big plus!

  • Collaborative, cross-functional leadership and influence. We love team players!
  • Analytical aptitude: Can you look at data and tell a compelling story? We need you!
  • Project management. Keeping things on track is crucial.
  • Intellectual curiosity that leads to process and business improvement. We're always looking to do things better.
  • A desire to drive value and embrace Walmart’s unique culture. We're proud of who we are and what we do.

Job Functions:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Dive into Advanced Analytics: You'll investigate key drivers of transportation dynamic optimization and data quality. You'll work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct ad hoc “back of the envelope” analyses to quickly inform critical business decisions. Plus, you'll develop data visualization to monitor and quantify the impact of changes and unique business challenges.
  • Build Partnerships and Collaborate: You'll engage with team members and cross-functional teams on a periodic basis and establish credibility. You'll analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to share relevant information.
  • Work with Data and Data Processing: You'll leverage data analysis tools to explore and process complex data. You'll develop and test hypotheses, use data to influence strategic work, and build and present insights.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: You'll seek to implement ideas for process improvement for the group by leveraging lean manufacturing principles, time studies, and collaborative efforts with operations teams.

  • Is customer-centric in spirit and in execution.
  • Understands Tableau, Tableau prep, SQL and Python
