  • Develop and execute long term, market-based Sourcing Strategies for Facility Management, Real Estate and Utilities.  
  • Apply industrial engineering knowledge to the evaluation of facility management equipment and systems to drive lowest total cost of operations for NXP locations.  
  • Lead the sourcing for assigned commodity groups and develop sourcing strategies, including risk mitigation options, and negotiation strategies to contribute to organizational goals. 
  • Negotiate, review and execute procurement contracts and agreements that clearly identify intent and responsibility, and assure compliance with all appropriate legal requirements. 
  • Provide information of market trends and benchmark data for the assigned commodity groups and feedback to the supply base team to contribute to NXP success. 
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders that bring visibility of KPI’s. 
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and quality. 
  • Drive RFP-process, establish negotiation plans and lead negotiations for assigned commodity groups to support company objectives. 
  • Propose opportunities to stakeholders for cost reduction by means of alternate sourcing and support stakeholders during the qualification process. 
  • Report forecast cost roadmaps and actuals on regular basis. 
  • Identify, qualify, rank and select appropriate suppliers including involvement of stakeholders. 
  • Manage supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service and Technology support to get a world class supplier base. 
  • Propose and align on supply assurance opportunities by means of risk management tool analysis, alternate sourcing and support stakeholders during the qualification process. 
  • Build and sustain a network with people in relevant related business areas to ensure knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices. 
  • Build and sustain good relationship with suppliers’ account management to make sure that suppliers understand and support NXP’s needs. 
  • Act as a first escalation point if problems with the suppliers occur and manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers during the escalation process. 
  • Responsible for negotiation and implementation of contracts, working instructions and guidelines for users on how to deploy contracts. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree 
  • Previous working experience in Purchasing or Supply chain management preferably in Semiconductors or other Electronics related industry. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Ability to communicate and present to executive management & leadership. 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)   
  • Strong analytical, presentation and negotiation skills 
  • Collaboration skills, must be able to co-ordinate and organize cross functional projects with stakeholders and suppliers (local/global level) 
  • Business ethical mindset and integrity 
  • SAP experience is preferable.
