As part of a hardworking team of diverse human resource specialists, you will be responsible talent practices across Blue Origin, with a specific focus on owning employee listening strategies and solutions. This role is part of the team that builds and implements talent solutions, including performance management, talent identification, recognition, and organization design. These solutions are crucial for encouraging a culture of performance and growth. The key aim of this position is to establish and implement employee listening programs that generate timely insights and drive action within the organization. You will deeply understand employee experience drivers at Blue and organization priorities to design solutions that are fit for purpose for where we are now and where we are headed as an organization. You will deliver programs that are scalable, using tools/software that drive insights to action, and use research-based approaches. You will partner to drive employee listening mechanisms into broader talent strategies and programs. You will also work more broadly, supporting the design, customization and execution of the suite of talent management solutions across the company. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Own Blue’s employee listening strategy by operationalizing the practices, solutions, and tooling to build a scalable and agile program.
  • Own end-to-end, employee survey solutions including survey creation, platform configuration, project and communication planning, action planning resources. 
  • Surface and aggregate insights from employee listening systems and drives insights into talent programs and organization initiatives.
  • Design tailored approaches, bringing to bear validated methods, data, and technologies to enhance program impact on key employee segments.
  • Work beyond employee listening to other talent programs such as performance management, talent identification or talent development strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners on strategic talent priorities, crafting talent solutions and customizations to meet diverse business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area such as HR Management, Psychology, or Organization Development and 15+ years of experience in talent management
  • Successful enterprise-wide talent responsibility to include either starting from scratch and/or building on others’ work to improve existing processes.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, with specific experience in predictive analytics and survey design.
  • Deep experience in more than one HR domain, such as talent management, organization design, organization change, analytics
  • Experience driving development and change of talent programs with large scale organization, with strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. 
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Org Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR Management or Management.  
  • Ability to figure things out without a road map, transform organizations, as well as break the mold in terms of ways to re-frame and tackle problems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, as well as outstanding prioritization and planning abilities – with solid attention to detail.
  • Experience in prioritizing, leading, and delivering complex projects. A track record succession across all phases including design, implementation, measurement and continuous improvement.


 

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $151,109.25-$211,552.95

Other site ranges may differ

Paid Time Off:  Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
