This role is within CGI's Operations and Reverse Logistics Supply Chain function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center and (ii) is dependable and willing to conduct repetitive tasks with a high attention to detail. Repetetive tasks include inspecting incoming customer warranty returned goods to compare material against RGA documents. Must be able determine final disposition results of material based upon predetermined guidelines and accurately record all data and disposition instructions in an Excel Template to create a daily table of Returns Data. Incumbent should be comfortable processing data across multiple applications at the same time, be able to understand and follow multi-process work instructions in order to accurately create and/or close RGA in a timely manner to meet SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Education requirements include: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience requirements include 1+ years experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing environment OR 1+ years of experience in warehouse environment utilizing Microsoft Excel.

Reverse Logistics Associate I- Qualifications:   

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Forklift Certification;
  • 1+ years experience in data entry and/or warehouse data processing environment OR 1+ years of experience in warehouse environment utilizing Microsoft Excel
  • This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed
  • Preferred Qualifications: Yellow Belt Certification; TWI Certification; Associates Degree, Lean manufacturing

Reverse Logistics Associate I Duties:

  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center
  • Inspect incoming customer warranty returned goods and compare material against RGA documents
  • Determine path of material based upon predetermined guidelines
  • Accurately record all data and disposition instructions in an Excel Template
  • Create and/or access Return Goods Authorizations to update all pertinent inspection information into RGA to accurately and successfully close RGA for all scenario types
  • Contribute and implement process suggestions in order to continuously improve RL operations
  • Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue
  • Fully contribute in continuous improvement events to improve operations
  • Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs are completed to minimize safety risk
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
  • Protect CGI’s reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
